Stella McCartney will co-host a virtual anti-fur protest next month in the online fantasy world known as Second Life.
The weeklong protest will begin July 12 on a dedicated island in the computer-generated alternative universe, it was announced this week by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The island will feature stables, a lake, picnic tables and Linda McCartney mini-veggie-burger stalls. -Read More-

Mills McCartney taking on media for other celebrities
Heather Mills McCartney was accused of lying on oath on Thursday while she gave evidence against a photographer she claims harassed her and other celebrities, including the model Kate Moss.
Jennifer Hawkins has conquered the universe, flashed more than her trademark smile, and made a small fortune.
Now her sights are set on Adelaide.
The former Miss Universe and television presenter will be in town on September 19 to launch Myer's new spring-summer 2007 collection, at a star-studded VIP fashion parade.
It will be the first time Jennifer, 23 has visited since winning the world's biggest beauty pageant in 2004 – and she says she cant wait.
"Going on tour as Myer's fashion ambassador this season is exciting."
"We launch in Sydney on August 8 and then travel to Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne."
The Adelaide VIP parade, to be held at Myer's Rundle Mall store, will include the who's who of Adelaide's fashion and media identities.
As well as appearing in the parade, Jennifer will feature in an exclusive fashion shoot with The Advertiser.

SIR Paul McCartney will only let estranged wife Heather Mills make "a fleeting visit" to his 65th birthday bash tomorrow.
He will have a small gathering of family and close pals at his Peasmarsh estate in East Sussex.
But Sir Paul, who split with Heather, 39, a year ago, has ruled out allowing her to stay at the party. A source close to Sir Paul said: "Things are still far from calm between Heather and Paul.
"It has been made clear she is more than welcome to go inside to drop off her and Sir Paul's baby daughter Beatrice. But she knows she is expected to make only a fleeting visit. She's expected to make herself scarce soon after she drops off Bea."
Sir Paul's daughter Stella, 35, who has always resented Heather, has told her dad she will be go into a different room as soon as his wife arrives. The source added: "Heather realises there's a possibility of problems if she stays."

Los Angeles judge has ordered Paris Hilton to appear in court later to determine whether she should be returned to jail. The celebrity heiress was allowed to leave jail on Thursday, only three days into a 45-day sentence for violating probation on a drink-driving ban.
She was given an electronic tag and ordered to remain under house arrest for the remainder of her sentence.
