The Sunday Mirror says Moss and Doherty recently had a "blazing row" because the rocker failed to keep his promise to return to rehab. "Things are the worst they've ever been," a Pete pal tells the paper. "He was really upset. He said Kate had gone ballistic when he failed to go to rehab last week for a new implant to help him off heroin. Instead, he went on a bender and has been unpredictable and angry.
The argument turned a bit nasty. Pete ran off and Kate is still refusing to see him." Adds the buddy, "Pete is annoyed at how controlling Kate is, which is really just her being concerned." But not everyone agrees the substance-susceptible squeezes are on the brink of explosion. The Daily Express is convinced they're planning to procreate sooner rather than later, and quotes the rehabbed supermodel as telling a friend, "What counts is having a family and we need the bond of a child ... a baby would be the clincher between Pete and me ..."
