Simon Cowell signs up George Michael and Paul McCartney

Music legends Paul McCartney and George Michael are being lined up to sing live duets with the X Factor finalists in a showstopping finale next week.

Simon Cowell has convinced the pop giants to take to the stage with the lucky wannabes for what promises to be a spectacular series climax.

Cowell is currently trying to land a third icon, believed to be Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, to complete the set.

And he has told friends he is determined to put on an absolute blockbuster final to break all previous TV ratings and pull in an audience of more than 20 million. [...]

'Parmalat founder Calisto Tanzi's art' seized

Authorities in Italy say they have seized works of art belonging to, and concealed by, the convicted founder of Italian firm Parmalat, Calisto Tanzi.
The 19 paintings and drawings, including works by Picasso, Monet and Van Gogh, are worth more than 100m euros (£90m), financial police said.
Tanzi denied owning any secret art collection earlier this week, Italian newspapers reported.
The concealed art was found in houses belonging to friends of the family. [...]
