On this Mother’s Day, I hope Larry Birkhead’s daughter, Dannielynn, will have a joyful, productive life, away from public spectacle. If Britney Spears’ seemingly quick treatment was, in fact, “successful," I hope she will carry it on with 12-Step or other one-day-at-a-time work. If Angelina Jolie is spatting with Brad Pitt, it would be better if they did so behind closed doors, so our interest in this international star will not be siphoned from her goal of lifting living standards around the earth.
