SIR Paul McCartney will only let estranged wife Heather Mills make "a fleeting visit" to his 65th birthday bash tomorrow.
He will have a small gathering of family and close pals at his Peasmarsh estate in East Sussex.
But Sir Paul, who split with Heather, 39, a year ago, has ruled out allowing her to stay at the party. A source close to Sir Paul said: "Things are still far from calm between Heather and Paul.
"It has been made clear she is more than welcome to go inside to drop off her and Sir Paul's baby daughter Beatrice. But she knows she is expected to make only a fleeting visit. She's expected to make herself scarce soon after she drops off Bea."
Sir Paul's daughter Stella, 35, who has always resented Heather, has told her dad she will be go into a different room as soon as his wife arrives. The source added: "Heather realises there's a possibility of problems if she stays."
